1. I Gotta Know (MP3) (Lyrics)
An uptempo rocker that started as a melancholy acoustic ballad. Believe me it's much better this way.   

2. Higher Tonight (MP3) (Lyrics)
This tune features one of the best musicians I know, John Oleniacz, on bass. Not only did he provide the sweet bass line, but he's the one who told me to "Modulate It Daddy!"

3. Sometimes I Wonder (MP3) (Lyrics)
My good friend Brian Clayton handles the lead vocals on this track. He also plays the drums on most of these songs too. Damn, that boy good!

4. Molly B. (MP3) (Lyrics)
Wrote this one about one girl but her name didn't fit the melody, so I picked a friend from college.  Hope she's not confused if she ever hears it.  This one is all me except for Brian pounding the skins. Sometimes I'm a little bit country.

5. Slow Fade (MP3) (Lyrics)
Wrote this song after a friend's mother died. My theory being that as long as you have an impact on people in your life you can live as long as the memory of you does. Historical figures such as George Washington, Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy will never truly be gone for this reason. The people whom I've loved and lost in my life will live in me as long as I do.

6. By A Thread (MP3) (Lyrics)
This song is proof that I grew up in the 80's. I tried to do a more modern version of it but it didn't sound right to me. So I left the original as is.

7. The Wait (MP3) (Lyrics)
My attempt at a country storytelling song. Sometimes I feel like this. My buddy Mike Saulnier provides the rhythm guitar while Brian "B.K." Kelly busted out the solo so sweet. Gotta get me some of that swamp ash!

8. Unconditional (MP3) (Lyrics)
Wrote this song while house-sitting for my brother. Nothing better for songwriting than an empty house and a broken heart.

9. Love Or Not (MP3) (Lyrics)
Bryan Adams was an early songwriting influence. I tried to rip him off here but I'm not that good. Eric Lacavera provided such a blistering outro solo that I had to re-cut my main solo to limit my embarrassment. I have to remember to get less talented friends.

10. Don't Look At Me (MP3) (Lyrics)
Wrote this one at the request of a college friend. I don't usually write on command but here's what I came out with. The solo is me trying to be bluesy, but I am oh so white.

11. Everybody's Gotta Have A Dream (MP3) (Lyrics)
My buddy Danny Danzi handles the lead vocal & guitar solo on this one. He is unbelievable! Makes me want to practice more or just up and quit!

12. Is It Always Gonna Hurt? (MP3) (Lyrics)
Almost didn't include this one on the CD because it's a little whiney. But Russ mixed it up so well it sounded too good to leave on the shelf.
